Steve moved to Oregon when he was just 8 years old and played the drums from the age of 11 through 14 years old. Throughout his childhood his grandfather influenced him and taught him a few things on the guitar but he didn't really take it up seriously until later in life. Steve is married with two children and joined the band in October 2007.
