Rod started playing the guitar at age 12 when a friend taught him a few chords - then he taught himself the rest. Along the way Rod picked up the knowledge of drums and bass guitar as he's from a very musical family who enjoyed playing gospel; country and classic rock together. Playing the guitar has been a constant source of sanity during insane times of his life and a reason for really great fun times, too. Rod loves entertaining people through the power of music because he can touch someone's emotions by playing and singing . . . which is why he's been playing for nearly 30 years. Rod's been all over the world and has met a lot of different people... but one thing that has been a constant in his life is playing the guitar and singing.
